Holiday Club Policies
Please find our parent policies below, which include the cancellation, behaviour management and additional support policy
All children are welcome at our holiday clubs, but it is important to understand the behaviour expectations prior to booking, and to consider if our holiday clubs are the best fit for your child(ren).
Cancellation Policy
We have made every effort to make our cancellation policy as reasonable and flexible as possible for parents/guardians, whilst also allowing us the ability to plan staffing numbers and be fully prepared for each day. Please find the cancellation policy document here. Any child collected during a camp day is not eligible for a full or partial refund for that day.
Behaviour Management Policy
All children attending must follow the behaviour management policy , and parents/guardians are expected to understand that document prior to attendance. Our holiday clubs are a fun and inclusive environment, and to protect the safety and experience of all children attending, we reserve the right to remove any child in accordance with the behaviour management policy.
Additional Support Policy
If your child has SEND or additional support needs, please refer to the full additional support policy document first. If, after reading, you think they would enjoy and succeed at our holiday clubs, then please get in touch to discuss their needs.
We ask all parents/guardians to speak with us prior to booking so that we can discuss their needs and any reasonable accommodations we can make to help them have the best time with us. We are proud to have children with a variety of different needs and disabilities successfully attend our clubs, and this always comes from a strong partnership and communication with parents/guardians.
Key things to consider:
– If your child requires a 1-2-1 at school, they will need to attend with a 1-2-1 at our camps. We welcome 1:1 support and will work with parents/guardians to help children attend.
– All children must be able to use the toilet independently (or with the support of their 1:1 support in attendance).
– All children must be able to follow safety instructions and for their safety, refrain from running away or hiding from activity leaders or the group.
– It’s important to understand our camp environment is very active, exciting, fun and generally very busy day. Some children can find the noise, amount of people and day over-stimulating, and we will work with parents to communicate this and work on ways to support the child, where we can.
– Our holiday clubs are structured days with 3-4 activities running at a time. We are different to other holiday clubs, which might be more of a “free-play” environment. Children attending are expected to choose their activity for each session and participate in it. We will always encourage children to take part and work with them to find the best-suited or most appealing activity for them. However, if children are unwilling to participate in activities, this can impact their own day and the experience for other children attending. In these cases, we will discuss the best course of action with parents/guardians in accordance with the behaviour management policy.
