FACILITIES
Sports Hall
The sports hall is our home for the Birstall school holiday club week, we meet, greet and release the children from this location each day. There is a fantastic car park next to this, too, so it’s very simple to find us off the Stonehill Avenue entrance. Bags are stored in the changing rooms and the sports hall has a basketball court, gymnastics, ninja kids and table tennis equipment, volleyball nets & more!
Sports Fields
The outdoor facilities at Cedars Academy are huge! This makes it very easy to play outdoor sports and games during the warmer weather at the holiday clubs. We have large sports fields which allow us to play sports including football, tag-rugby, cricket, outdoor dance and our infamous water fights!
Drama Hall & Stage
Our stage holiday club area has its very own hall at Cedars Academy! This means the dance, drama, musical theatre, singing, gymnastics and cheerleading activities are all held in the large hall area. Equiped with a sound system and screens, it’s perfect for our kids holiday club stage area!
Large Additional Sports Hall
That’s right! 3 Sports halls for our Leicester holiday clubs! We are very lucky to have an additional and larger sports hall. This can be used for sports and solve activities. Especially if the weather is not good enough to be outside, which it can in some school holidays!
Outdoor Tennis Courts and hardcourts
We are blessed at our Birstall Holiday Club to have 4 outdoor tennis courts! These are great for both tennis and other outdoor games and activities! We are also lucky to have a covered outdoor seating area, perfect for breaktimes outside!
Solve
Our solve holiday club area is mixed between the outdoors, using the large fields for the nature trails, scavenger hunts and games. As well as one of our 3 sports hall for the indoor activities and games. We also have special areas with seating which can be used for the arts and crafts activities at our holiday clubs.
